THE SIDE HUSTLE SCRATCH - SCRIPT SUBMISSIONS

Thanks for considering us to submit your work for the SIDE HUSTLE SCRATCH, our regular scratch night at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre.
Please complete the following form to send us your script. Just a reminder we’re looking for:

Script Length: 10 mins max
Cast Size: 1-4 Actors
Tech Requirements: Shows should be easy to mount with minimum set / turn round times under scratch conditions

We will pair the selected writers with directors and actors to have their work rehearsed and performed. If you are submitting yourself to perform your work, please indicate in the form below when you send us your submission. We look forward to hearing from you!

THE SMALL PRINT:

  • Scripts should not have been previously have been performed at any London venue. (new show previews or WIP are welcome)

  • Only one script can be submitted per writer.

  • Whilst this an unpaid opportunity, there will be the opportunity to receive feedback & a filmed copy of your work.

  • We are particularly keen to encourage submissions from Global Majority and Working Class writers & performers.

  • Scripts in PDF or Word Format Only please.
