KIERAN DEE | KNIGHT

Kieran is an award winning writer and actor.  He learned stagecraft at The Young Actors Company before becoming a core member of The Craft Ensemble. 

He is a founding member of MoonLoaf Theatre, currently associate artists of The Lion and Unicorn Theatre. His work with MoonLoaf includes writing and performing in award winning shows Hematoma and TIFO. Signed with Julie Fox Associates he continues to work in a wide range of roles for theatre and film. 

In his directing work Kieran has taken on a range of challenges. Most recently he took charge of the very well received one woman show ‘Lucinda Spragg: An Evening With’. He has also directed for the international theatre company Alter Ego Creative Solutions’

For Proforca Theatre Company - Previous Work includes “Andy” in Feel More 2023, which is now in development as Proforca’s first short film.

DODIE FINAMORE | RAENA

Dodie is an actor and maker from London, having recently filmed her first TV role for a new series released in 2022.

She is highly experienced in immersive, site specific theatre working regularly with Dank Parish Theatre Company. She is an Associate Artist of 6FootStories and has taken and toured work to Boomtown Festival, Larmer Tree Festival, Green Man Festival such as The Intergalactic Circus of Truths.

She has performed at both Brighton and Edinburgh Fringe and debuted her one-woman show “Something is Happening” at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre in 2023.

Dodie is an Associate Artist of the Lion & Unicorn Theatre.

ALEX O'DONNELL | BISHOP

Alex recently graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and is very excited to make her professional debut with Proforca Theatre Company. Previous work includes Light Shining in Buckinghamshire (RCSSD), Galapagos (RCSSD), Something 'Bout You (Putney Theatre Company) and Little Women (Putney Theatre Company).

MELISSA PHILLIPS | KING

Melissa is a London-based actor and first teamed up with Proforça Theatre Company in 2018. She is excited to be back on board for ‘The Shatter Box’.

Proforça credits include ‘Feel More’ and ‘At Last’. Melissa recently worked on season 4 of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan (Amazon Prime), Doctors (BBC), and Trigger Point (ITV).

In addition to acting, Melissa is moving into the voice-over industry and is currently developing her own projects.

DAVID BRADY | DIRECTOR

David is an Offie-Nominated Writer, Director, and Artistic Director from Coventry based in London.

For Proforça credits include: If I Go (2016) Saucy Jack & The Space Vixens (2016), The Importance of Being Earnest (2017), Reading Gaol (2017-18), Feel (2018-19)

Feel More (2018-2020), At Last (2019),. AAAAA (FiveAl (2021). Volcano (2022) and the Offie-Nominated Lately (2021 & 2023)

Other credits include Getting Rid (2018) for Actor Awareness, work for Far Cry Theatre (2019), Hooked Theatre (2021) ChewBoy Productions (2022) and Associate Producer of BLUEBIRD (2018) and "2nd Coming Again" (2018 -2019). He has directed work at YORAC, Theatre N16, The King's Head Theatre, Hertford Theatre, Upstairs at the Western, The Space, The Old Joint Stock Theatre & The Albany Theatre, Coventry (amongst others).

David is also the Artistic Director of the Lion & Unicorn Theatre in Kentish Town and was awarded a special commendation for services to Pub Theatre in 2021 by London Pub Theatres Magazine.

GEORGIE BAILEY | DRAMATURGY

Georgie Bailey is a multi-award-winning playwright, poet, dramaturg and producer. In 2023, he won the Adopt a Playwright Award, has been shortlisted for Theatre Uncut, Original Theatre and BOLD Playwright’s respective awards for his works.

Georgie is an alumnus of Soho, HighTide, Papatango, Oxford Playhouse and the Criterion’s respective playwriting attachments and his works have been seen in a variety of places such as Chichester Festival Theatre, Pleasance, New Diorama, Underbelly Edinburgh and BBC Audio Labs. He is the Co-Artistic Director of the acclaimed production house ChewBoy Productions.

George is an Associate Artist of Proforca Theatre Company.

MATTHEW PARKER - CONSULTING DIRECTOR

Matthew is a theatre director, actor, PR and former Artistic Director of The Hope Theatre.

Recent directing includes I Wish My Life Were Like A Musical (Gilded Balloon / Wilton’s Music Hall), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Cambridge Shakespeare Festival), Thrill Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story (Jermyn Street Theatre), The Grotto (Drayton Arms Theatre), Vinegar Tom (OVO Theatre), Trestle (Jack Studio Theatre), The Comedy of Errors and Henry V (both Roman Theatre of Verulamium) and Brainville At Night (UK Tour).

Matthew won the Best Artistic Director OFFIE Award for his work at The Hope in 2016; the same year The Hope was shortlisted as Fringe Theatre of the Year at The Stage Awards. Matthew has received 8 Best Director OFFIE Award nominations for his work since 2015 and he recently won Best Director of a Musical at the 2023 Awards for his direction of Thrill Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story. His adaptation of Chekhov’s Ward No.6 gained a Best Ensemble nomination at The Stage Awards and Time Out Critic’s Choice upon its transfer to London in 2010.

He combines his work as a freelance director with acting, teaching at various London drama schools and also managing PR for Off West End shows including recent Proforca shows Flashbang and AAAAA.

Recent acting work includes Peter Pan (Alban Arena), The Comedy of Errors (Roman Theatre of Verulamium) and The Play With Speeches (Jack Studio Theatre / Upstairs At The Gatehouse) for which he received an OFFIE Award nomination for Best Lead Performance in a Play.
