In the run up to rehearsals starting for our March 2018 production of "Feel" - we;re thrilled to take this opportunity to introduce you to our brand new cast and production team, who were announced this week. Playing the role of "Jamie" is Jonathon George who returns to the company following his very well received portrayal of "Innocent" in our production of "Reading Gaol" (Nov 2017)
Jonathon trained at the National Youth Theatre and now works as an actor in London. Born and bred in North Yorkshire, Jonathon spent a number of years competing around the world as a member of the England Karate Squad. He also gained a first class degree in Engineering from Loughborough University. His credits include:
Theatre: The Creature in Nick Dear's Frankenstein (Bridewell Theatre); Faustus in Marlowe's Doctor Faustus (Theatro Technis); Gorge in Dennis Kelly's The Ritual Slaughter of Gorge Mastromas (Bridewell Theatre); Billing in Ibsen's An Enemy of the People (Theatro Technis); and Alan in Stanley Houghton's Hindle Wakes (Upstairs at the Gatehouse).
Jonathon originated the role of "Innocent" for the Proforca Theatre Company production of "Reading Gaol" in 2017 and this is currently in further development as a one man performance.
