DEMELZA O'SULLIVAN | MARIE

Demelza is from Birmingham and started her training with director Tracey Street. She currently trains with ICAT in Manchester. She has several screen credits including Doctors, DI Ray, Phoenix Rise and Sherwood. Recent projects include Say Nothing for Disney, and Citadel, directed by Joe Russo. She can also be seen in the current Tesco commercial. 

Theatre includes: Yen at The Old Joint Stock, and A Christmas Carol at The Crescent Theatre.

 For Proforca Theatre Company, Demelza appeared as Brenda in Feel More (2019, The Space (London), The Lion & Unicorn Theatre (Kentish Town)) and as Marie in At Last (2019, The Lion & Unicorn Theatre.) She is very excited to be returning to the role of Marie for 2025, a role which is truly special.

 Demelza is an Associate Artist of Proforca Theatre Company.

NICOLE ELIZABETH | GRACE

Nicole attended Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) 2021-2024.

 Previous work includes: Ann Marten in 'The Ballad of Maria Marten' - AUB Productions, Thérèse Raquin - AUB Productions and ‘RENT' The Musical by Jonathan Larson playing Joanne Jefferson,

She made her directorial debut with 'Grease' the Musical (2024) at the Palace Court Theatre, and her first play 'Damaged Goods' was first performed in the Black Box Theatre at Arts university Bournemouth (AUB).

Nicole received a Distinction in her LAMDA Grade 6, 7 & 8 in Musical Theatre, Nicole is also alumni of the National Youth Musical Theatre (NYMT) - 'Billy the Kid' (2021) and is Kingdom School of Arts student member (located at ArtsED university) and a member pf the West End Gospel Choir.

At Last is Nicole’s Proforca Theatre Company debut and her professional acting debut.

ADAM HALCRO | JACK

Adam Halcro is a British/Italian actor from the West Midlands. Adam trained at the Manchester School of Theatre graduating in 2024.

Since graduating Adam has appeared in work across Theatre and Television, includind 'SESSIONS' with Working Progress Collective where Adam earned nominations for best individual performance at both Buxton and Edinburgh Festival Fringe, CYBER AWARE commercial with the Home Office and Drool Productions; and set to come out in January 2026 Adam will be featuring in an episode of CASUALTY (BBC) as a guest lead.

This will be Adam’s second appearance at the Lion and Unicorn after 'Sessions' in 2024.

At Last is Adam’s Proforca Theatre Company debut.

CURTIS TALBOT | DANNY

Curtis is a neurodivergent actor and writer from Chelmsley Wood, Birmingham, raised in a working-class family. A 2023 graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama’s BA Acting program, he is represented by Cherrypicked Talent.

Curtis has a keen interest in authentic working-class stories from various perspectives. He also works as an industrial cleaner.

At Last is Curtis’s Proforca Theatre Company debut.

KIM SCOPES | NIKKI

Kim trained at East 15 and is an Actor, Puppeteer & Theatre Maker.

 Recent credits include Puppeteer/Understudy in Olivier Award Winning DINOSAUR WORLD, LIVE! (Nicoll Entertainment), Caliban/Sebastian in THE TEMPEST (TheatreSpace NE), THE MAGIC FLUTE (Welsh National Opera), PETA – RED RIVER FARM (Online Commercials),THE ADVENTURES OF BO PEEP (Knuckle and Joint), JUSTIN’S HOUSE (CBeebies), SOMEWHERE TO BELONG (UK TOUR) THE LOVER (Mountview), AAAAA (Proforca Theatre), BLUE (Sycorax Collective), THE WIDER EARTH (Dead Puppet Society) BECCA’S BUNCH (Nick Jnr) & A CHRISTMAS CAROL (Sonia Friedman Productions, London West End).

 Kim was nominated for a ‘Standing Ovation Nomination’ for her performance in BLUE and is the co-founder of Sycorax Collective (@sycorax_co). Kim is an Associate Artist of Proforca Theatre Company and delighted to be coming back to the L&U for Proforca’s tenth anniversary.

 

DOMINIC FARROW | COLIN

Dominic graduated from the Identity School of Acting in 2019 and has since undertaken many roles on both stage and screen.

 His most notable credits include the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Better Yesterday at the Bread and Roses theatre which received a 5-star review from London Pub Theatres and a lead role in a feature film which received awards at multiple film festivals including Berlin, Montreal and Chicago.

Alongside his acting career, Dominic is also a playwright and has previously been shortlisted for the RSC's 37 plays.

 For Proforca Theatre Company, Dominic appeared in both The Side Hustle Scratch (2024) and The End of The World Show (2025).

TIM LARKFIELD | ASPER

Tim trained at The Poor School. Stage work includes solo shows The Signalman and James Whale: Beyond Frankenstein, both performed at the Edinburgh Fringe. Other theatre includes verbatim play about men's mental health No one Here is Me, Noël Coward's Private Lives (UK tour), The Silk of 1,000 Spiders (Icon Theatre) and devised show GAPS (Katzpace).

He can be seen in feature film The Mystery of Mr E, showing on Amazon Prime. Short films include Open, Applause, Fruit Loops, and The Piano in the Old Front Room. He is based in Margate, Kent.

This is Tim’s debut performance for Proforca Theatre Company.

MARK CONWAY | ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Credits include The Shatter Box, And If The Surface Tension Breaks, Boots - scratch sharing (Lion & Unicorn Theatre); The Ice at the End of The World (Omnibus Theatre); Glacier (Old Fire Station) Past Life (The Lowry & UK Tour); The Mozart Question (Barn Theatre); Acedian Pirates (Theatre503); Sex with Robots and Other Devices (Live Theatre); Land of Our Fathers (Theatre503, Trafalgar Studios & UK Tour - Winner of the Time Out Critic’s Choice and Fringe Show of the Year 2013).

Mark also works with Eloise Secker under the company name Play Dead to work together on projects as a movement duo.

Credits for Play Dead include Father's SonBlue Departed and Safe Sex (Vault Festival); Lobster (Underbelly, EdFringe); Grafting (Rose Theatre Kingston, IYAF); and short film The Everlasting Club (Jeva Films).

Mark is an associate artist and strongly supported by Proforça Theatre Company.

DAVID BRADY | ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

David is an Offie-Nominated Writer, Director, and Artistic Director from Coventry based in London. For Proforça credits include: “If I Go” (2016) “Saucy Jack & The Space Vixens” (2016), “The Importance of Being Earnest” (2017), “Reading Gaol” (2017-18), “Feel” (2018-19)  “Feel More” (2018-2020), “At Last” (2019), “AAAAA [FiveA]” (2021), the Offie Nominated Lately (2021 & UK Tour 2022) “Flashbang” (2022/2024), “The Shatter Box” (2023), “And If The Surface Tension Breaks” (2025) and a number of pieces forming part of Proforca’s “Side Hustle” Project.

 

Other credits include “Getting Rid” (2018) for Actor Awareness, work for Far Cry Theatre (2019) and Associate Producer of BLUEBIRD (2018) and “2nd Coming Again” (2018 - 2019). He has directed work at YORAC, Theatre N16, The King's Head Theatre, Hertford Theatre, Upstairs at the Western, The Space, Eden Dock at Canary Wharf & The Albany Theatre Coventry (amongst others) David is also the Artistic Director of the Lion & Unicorn Theatre in Kentish Town and was awarded a special commendation for services to Pub Theatre in 2021 by London Pub Theatres Magazine.

Flashbang transfers to Greenwich Theatre in January 2026.

ALEXANDER KNOTT | WRITER

Alexander Knott is a South London based, Off West End Award winning theatre maker who works as a writer, director and creative producer. He has written and directed productions at the Bristol Old Vic, The Barn Theatre, Theatre Royal Stratford East, 53Two Manchester, the Underbelly Edinburgh, the Old Red Lion Theatre (where he was Artistic Director) and numerous venues across London. He has taught Acting and Writing at Italia Conti, Central Film School and LAMDA, and was most recently Producer of The Bread and Roses Theatre and the founding Producer of the Lambeth Fringe Festival.

 

As a writer, his plays include: Bath (Bag of Beard, The Bread & Roses Theatre), Loop (BoxLess, Theatre Royal Stratford East, national tour & Edinburgh Fringe), Blue Blue (WoLab, King’s Head Theatre), Brenda from UKIP (Proforca, The Space/The Lion & Unicorn Theatre), Renaissance Men (Joint Writer/Dramaturg, Old Red Lion Theatre/Square Chapel Arts Centre & northern tour), Hedgehog (BoxLess, The Lion & Unicorn Theatre), At Last (Joint Writer, Proforca, The Lion & Unicorn Theatre and tour), Nothing Between Friends (Joint Writer, West Avenue, Waterloo East Theatre), Yesterday’s Dreams (Katzpace), December - A New Play for Christmas (Old Red Lion Theatre), Cratchit (Park Theatre), Ballooniana! (New Wimbledon Theatre), The Messiah Complex (VAULT Festival) which was nominated for an Origins Award for Outstanding New Theatre, The Tales of the Giants (Wilton’s Music Hall Studio) and The Highgate Vampire (VAULT).
